Open Access - Warrington

Open Access workers in Warrington are particularly active in the community, setting up successful satellite clinics in both the YMCA and James Lee House, a local hostel. The service is growing rapidly as the drop-in and appointments system becomes more firmly established.

Staff also work closely with other providers such as the Community Drug Team, supported housing projects and the local Drug Action Team to address the issue of common assessment procedures. Open Access workers also have very strong links with the Warrington Service Users group and attend regular meetings led by the group.
