Vacancies at ARCH
ARCH Initiatives vacancies will appear on these pages as and when they become available. Notice of vacancies will also usually be published in a newspaper, local to the place of work, as well as advertised in Job Centres and distributed to a number of community organisations across the area.

Please note that we are unable to accept applications to 'keep on file'. Also, we cannot accept CVs, unless they are accompanied by an application form.

You will find on these pages an application form, job description, person specification and any other details of current vacancies. It is ARCH Initiatives' policy to shortlist candidates on the basis of how well they have demonstrated on the application form that they meet the criteria set out in the
person specification.

Please indicate
clearly on the application form the post for which you are applying (use the job title from the job description) and how you became aware of the vacancy, being as specific as possible.

You can return the completed application form to scottt@ARCH.u-net.com Or, if you wish to apply by post, please send it to:

Recruitment, ARCH Initiatives, 23 Conway Street, Birkenhead, Wirral CH41 6PT

If sending in a written application form, please use black ink and write on one side of the paper only (this includes any additional sheets).

Please note that the majority of posts at ARCH Initiatives are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the successful applicant will be usually appointed subject to a Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure. Criminal convictions will not necessarily bar you from employment - this will depend on the circumstances and background to your offences. However, there are some posts for which a criminal record will make you ineligible: these are usually those involving working on the premises of either the Police or the Prison Service. Please contact Tim Scott, Human Resource Officer, if you need further information on this issue.

Candidates who have been selected for interview will be advised shortly after the closing date for receipt of completed applications. In view of the number of responses that we receive, and our charitable status, it is not possible for us to advise all applicants of the outcome of their application. Therefore, if you have not heard from us within a month of your application you should assume that your application has not been successful.

Thank you for your interest in ARCH Initiatives.
