Do you need information and support to help you reduce or stop using stimulant drugs?

If you answer yes to either of these questions, Wirral Stimulant Service can help.

ARCH Initiatives is committed to equality of opportunity and aims to reflect the diversity of society in all its activities. The partnership between ARCH Initiatives and Wirral Drug Service now offers a specialist Stimulant Service. This service is designed for individuals using stimulants, or for those who use more than one type of drug.

The Stimulant Team offer a wide variety of services including:
Information on drugs & their effects
Advice on how to cut down or stop using
Medical assessment and support - for example dietary advice and help with other health concerns
Structured keyworking
Structured counselling
Outreach support
Group work and support
Complementary therapies
Assessment for in-patient detoxification
General help and advice with housing & benefit problems
Out of hours service

The Stimulant Service Care Co-ordinator will provide a full assessment of need and will then develop a mutually agreeable package of support (care plan).

The Stimulant Team are able to offer free and confidential advice on a 1:1 basis.

Referrals to the service can be made from any source, including: Self Referral, Drug Workers, GP’s, Probation Officers, Prison Workers, Health Care & Community Care Workers.

No appointment is necessary between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
