ARCH Initiatives provides the Cheshire Arrest Referral Scheme and staff operate out of custody suites in Chester, Crewe, Ellesmere Port, Halton, Northwich, Warrington and Wilmslow.

The government’s Drugs Intervention Programme (DIP) in Warrington is operated by ARCH Initiatives.

Scales of justice ARCH Initiatives is fully engaged in the delivery of the government’s Drug Intervention Programme (DIP) in Wirral, offering Enhanced Arrest Referral, Restrictions on Bail, Drug Treatment and Testing (DTTO), Prolific Offenders and Prison Liaison schemes.

These Criminal Justice Services relating to substance misuse have been implemented in Wirral through the creation of multi-agency team, which includes the Probation Service and Police working together with ARCH Initiatives, to offer a single point of contact to clients. The team members are based together in ARCH Initiatives’ building in Birkenhead, ensuring the integrated delivery of a consistent and high quality service, with immediate easy access to a full range of treatment services.

The ACT 24 hour help line is available to people throughout Merseyside. Through its residential service, based at Birchwood, ARCH Initiatives’ staff provide daily out-of-hours and weekend cover for the 24-hour help line, to comply with the requirements of Drug Intervention Programme.
